Do you remember your first?

The first webcomic I ever read was Angst Technology over at Inktank.com. It was the first website in my “daily rotation”. It was funny and if I remember correctly it hardly missed an update. Well after five years Barry Smith called it quits. He was finishing up school, family, all that good stuff that ussually hits people kind of hard. About two months ago I was having a converstation with Becky about the first webcomic she ever read. So I went to his site, which had turned into an informal blog/portfolio, but still had the archives up. And squealed like a little girl when I saw he had two new comics up. It wasn’t a continuation of his old comics, but a new project. And I’m not afraid to say that he’s back in my daily rotation. First stop, as a matter of fact, he’s beating out the “giants” in the industry in my rotation and that’s how it’s going to stay. It looks like he’s trying to make it work for him this time around so do me a favor and go check him out. There’s just something about caring for your first, ya’know?
